LET’S BEGIN

The Care Conversation

A 1-hour expert-led workshop that gives you the scripts, framework, and confidence to talk to your aging parents about their future, before crisis hits.

Go from “I should’ve done this sooner” to confident, clear, and taking action.

You've Done All the Things

✔ Googled at 2am: “What to do when your parent can’t live alone anymore.”

✔ Tried talking to your siblings… it got weird.

✔ Stayed up too late worrying about future money, housing, and medical decisions.

You love your parents—but this is a lot

The truth? You're not failing, you're just carrying a load you were never prepared for.

That’s why this workshop exists. So you can stop panicking and start preparing with confidence.

Our generation is sandwiched between raising kids while trying to support aging parents. We are in the thick of it: Saturday sports, careers, and our own family’s needs. Now, as we also begin to navigate long-term care, Medicaid, dementia, or even hospice for our parents, we are overwhelmed and burned out.

But when you’re equipped with:

  • Practical guidance from real experts.

  • Emotional support that actually gets it.

  • A foundation to help you prepare not just react...

Then:

  • Conversations with family become clearer, calmer, and more productive.

  • Decisions about housing, care, and money feel informed, not reactive.

  • You move from dread to confidence.

  • You get to be a good daughter/son/child without losing yourself in the process.

The Care Conversation Workshop is led by Bradley Burgoyne, a respected executive director with 20 years of experience leading award-winning senior living communities in California.

Meet Your Guide

Hi, I’m Bradley. I have spent nearly two decades guiding families through some of the hardest seasons of their lives—deciding where their parents should live, what kind of care they need, and how to have impossible conversations with clarity and compassion. As an executive leader with experience in many senior living settings, I’ve seen every version of this story, and I bring that everyday, lived experience, calm presence, and clear-eyed advice to The Parental Load.

My goal is to equip you, to guide you, so you don’t feel like you’re figuring this out alone, in a panic, at midnight on your phone.

Let’s lighten the load, together.
